Earning From Your Banner
Your X banner is prime, always-on real estate — and Xenopic lets you rent it out. As a publisher, you host a sponsor's ad on your live banner and get paid for the time it's shown. No posting, no clicking, no extra work. You pick an ad, it appears on your banner, and your earnings tick up while it runs.
Anyone can be a publisher — free included
You don't need a paid plan to earn. Publishing is free for every account. (Designing and paying for ads is the other side of the marketplace — that's the advertiser role, which is Premium-only.)
How it works
- Open the Marketplace and browse the Earn Cash ads available to you.
- Install one on your banner — it slots in alongside your widgets.
- Your banner auto-updates and starts showing the sponsorship.
- Earnings accrue for as long as the ad is genuinely displayed on your live banner.
You stay in control the whole time. Turn an ad off whenever you like, swap it for another, or remove it — your spot and your earned total are kept either way.
You're paid by display time, not clicks
Xenopic pays for verified display time — the time a sponsor's ad is actually shown on your banner — not for clicks or impressions you'd have to chase. There's nothing to optimize and no incentive to spam. While an eligible ad is live on your banner, you earn at a steady rate; when it's hidden, paused, or its budget runs out, the meter simply stops.
No clicks to chase
Because pay is tied to honest display time, you never have to beg followers to tap anything. Keep the ad up, keep earning — that's the whole model.
Reach decides your rate — it's not a paywall
How much you earn scales with your audience reach, a modeled score based on your follower count, posting activity, and engagement quality. Accounts are sorted into reach bands — from micro up through small, mid, large, and whale.
This isn't a paywall. Even the smallest accounts clear a reach floor and earn a token amount, so everyone can participate. The score is deliberately concave: it damps the very largest accounts so they don't drain a sponsor's budget, while keeping mid-sized creators well rewarded. Some sponsorships also target specific bands, so the ads you see may depend on where your reach lands.
Reach is modeled, not surveilled — a banner has no click or impression tracking, so Xenopic estimates reach from data you already share publicly. See How reach works for the full breakdown.
Your earnings, at a glance
The Earnings & Payouts page is your publisher home. It shows four running totals:
| Stat | What it means |
|---|---|
| Estimated | What you've accrued so far, including ads you've since swapped out |
| Pending | Earnings still clearing |
| Withdrawable | Cleared and ready to pay out |
| Lifetime | Your all-time total earned |
Below the totals, Showing now lists the sponsorship currently live on your banner, its status (earning, paused by the advertiser, budget spent, and so on), and what it has estimated. Earnings from removed or swapped ads aren't lost — they roll into your cumulative Estimated total, so changing ads never zeroes what you've made.
Preview phase: earnings are estimated
Xenopic is currently in a preview phase. The figures on your earnings page are projections of what you'd make, not yet withdrawable cash. Real payouts open at launch — your accrued totals carry forward. Note too that this cash system is entirely separate from coins: coins are build capacity, never money.
A note on safety
Hosting ads changes nothing about your account access. Xenopic's connection to X stays read-only, plus the ability to update your banner image — it never posts, messages, or follows on your behalf. You're simply choosing what appears on your own banner.
